Q: What is your favourite memory?
A: The smiles on kids' faces and the reward of seeing the logistics and thebehind-the-scenes efforts working out – kids getting to an event or getting equipment, and participating in recreation when they might not have otherwise been able to.

The executive board consists of up to seven volunteers: a president, vice president of North Slave, vice president of South Slave, vice president of Dehcho, and three directors at large. Currently the MRA is staffed by one full time executive director and one seasonal summer staff.
The MRA region consists of the following communities: Behchokǫ̀, Dettah, Enterprise, Fort Liard, Fort Providence, Fort Resolution, Fort Simpson, Fort Smith, Gamètì, Hay River, Jean Marie River, Kakisa, K'atl'odeeche, Łutselkʼe, Nahanni Butte, Ndilǫ, Sambaa K'e, Wekweètì, Whatì, Wrigley
